PRICING

Simple pricing. Sovereign economics.

One flat platform price. Usage above your allocation is billed at infrastructure-level rates, not PaaS-level rates — published where you can see them, never discovered on an invoice. And you can always self-host kilter or move to another Miniscaler, which is exactly why we can't afford to get greedy.

All plans come with:
  • Ephemeral PR environments — full resources for 4h, then scale-to-zero, reaped at 48h
  • Policy management — guardrails on what apps and agents can do
  • Security — per-app isolation via Kubernetes namespaces, network policy, and managed secrets

Agentic Business Operations

with the Kilter Business Portal

The business-user layer — per-seat licensing for security, business users, and business-team builders who operate agentic workflows, approve agent actions, and see what's running. Your engineering org carries no seat charge below 30 users; beyond that, additional engineers license as business seats from $10.

from$10/user/month
  • A dashboard where business users reach their applications in a portal-friendly way
  • Single sign-on across every agentic-layer app
  • Secure, controlled deployment of business-user-created apps
  • Data access contracts tied to role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Application classification for agentic GRC

Airbender

Agentic Performance Management

Get unreliable agents reliably into production. Runtime guardrails, mitigations, and compliance controls at the application and workflow layer — so your agents don't have to be always right to be safe.

from$10/user/month
  • KPIs and Critical Control Points create process safety at the system level
  • Agents can be evolved in production
  • A/B test new models or smaller models
  • Kilter application layer ensures human accountability
  • Temporal durable execution ensures consistent execution
  • Role-based access control at agent and namespace levels ensures full control and security at the infrastructure level
  • The Airbender runtime proxy isolates an application when it performs poorly — all LLM and data access is cut off and the application is notified of the mitigation

Transparent and fair pricing

Everything above your included allocation is billed at cost + operating margin — infrastructure-level rates, not PaaS-level rates, across the board. Compute, memory, storage, egress: same rule, no category games, no bundle mysteries. The rates are published where you can see them, not discovered on an invoice.

Why can you trust that? Because kilter is open source and portable. If we ever got greedy, you'd self-host, or take your apps to another Miniscaler running the same stack. That isn't a bug in our business model — it's the enforcement mechanism.

ResourceUnitReference costVersus PaaS
vCPUper vCPU-hour$0.012~70% less
Memoryper GB-hour$0.005~65% less
Storageper GB-month$0.08~70% less
Egressper GB$0.01~90% less

Illustrative — savings versus typical PaaS list prices. Your live, binding rate card is always in your portal before anything is billed.

Questions, answered

What happens after the 7 days?

Your trial converts to the $100/month k8gentic Engineering plan — or it doesn't, and your environment winds down. No card is required to start, so nothing converts silently. We email you before the trial ends.

How is overage measured and billed?

Per-app resource consumption (CPU, memory, storage, egress) is metered on the platform and billed monthly at cost + operating margin — infrastructure-level rates, not PaaS-level rates. The live rate card is always visible in your portal before anything is billed — you'll never discover a rate on an invoice.

What does "production-lite" mean?

An always-on app with modest resource allocations — it never sleeps, unlike free-tier apps, but it isn't sized for heavy production traffic. Perfect for internal tools, dashboards, and departmental apps that need to answer instantly.

Can I self-host instead?

Yes — that's the point. Kilter is open source and everything it provisions is standard Kubernetes. Self-host it, or run on any Miniscaler in the network. Our pricing has to stay honest because leaving is easy.

How are Kilter Business Portal seats counted?

Per active user per month, starting at $10/user — the business-user layer: security, business users, and business-team builders operating agentic workflows. Your engineering org carries no seat charge below 30 users; above that, additional engineers are licensed as business seats from $10. Enterprise tiers add governance, audit, and SSO.
